Welcome to the official website of Historic Sweet's Ballroom. Located at 1933 Broadway St. in the center of Oakland's historic arts and entertainment disctrict one block from the legendary Paramount and Fox Theaters.

This 1200-person capacity concert venue, dance hall and special event space has been critically compared to the Great American Music Hall and the Fillmore in
San Francisco.

Since it's opening in 1924, people have danced in this beautiful art deco space to the music of Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, the Dorsey Brothers, Count Basie, Artie Shaw, Pete Escoveto, and more.
